The Odyssey

Welcome to "The Odyssey," a transformative development program designed to guide you on a journey of personal growth, self-discovery, and effective leadership. This 10-week workshop series is crafted to empower you with the skills, knowledge, and mindset needed to navigate the challenges of leadership in today's dynamic world, both here at El Camino and beyond.

The Odyssey will take place on consecutive Thursday's during Spring semester, from 2:30pm to 4:00pm. Below is the tentative Spring schedule.

Program Objectives

Self-Discovery: Explore and understand your strengths, values, and leadership style. 

Effective Communication: Develop clear and compelling communication skills for impactful leadership. 

Team Dynamics: Learn to foster collaboration, motivate others, and navigate team dynamics successfully. 

Adaptability: Cultivate resilience, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in changing environments. 

Strategic Thinking: Develop a strategic mindset to make informed decisions and achieve long-term goals. 

Inclusive Leadership: Understand and practice inclusive leadership to create diverse and equitable environments. 

Ethical Leadership: Explore the principles of ethical leadership and their application in real-world scenarios. 

Project Management: Acquire skills in planning, executing, and evaluating projects for successful outcomes. 

Goal Setting: Learn to set, prioritize, and achieve personal and professional goals. 

Community-Based Learning: Apply learned principles through real-world projects, case studies, and community service.
