and School Relations team offers a variety of services for your organization's needs.
El Camino College will be closed the following dates and we may not be able to accommodate any requests on these days due to limited staffing. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Please complete our Outreach Services Request Form at least two weeks in advance of your first preferred service date. Submitting a form does not guarantee that we will be able to accommodate your needs. All services are subject to cancellation/postponement dependent on staff availability or other extenuating circumstances.
The majority of our services are available both in-person or virtually. You may indicate your preference in the Outreach Services Request Form.

Outreach Services Request FormEstimated Time: 1 Hour
Your students will be given a brief overview by an outreach representative and/or ambassador of services provided at El Camino College and the steps of enrollment.
Estimated Time: 1 Hour
An outreach representative and/or ambassador will assist students who would like to apply to El Camino College for the upcoming semester in your internet-ready computer lab. A minimum of 10 students must be in attendance to provide an Application Workshop.
Estimated Time: 30-45 Minutes
Students will be given a brief overview of available federal and state financial aid and the application process by a financial aid representative and/or ambassador.

A financial aid representative and/or ambassador will assists students and parents to complete the FAFSA or DREAM Act application and will answer questions students may have. The workshop will be facilitated in your internet-ready computer lab.
Estimated Time: 1 - 1.5 Hours
Tours are available depending on staff availability and safety protocols. For in-person tours, all campus visitors are required to wear masks and follow our campus entry and health safety process.

An outreach representative and/or ambassador will set up a table with literature about the services offered at El Camino College and will answer questions students may have.
Estimated Time: 1 - 2 Hours
An outreach representative will be on your site to help support students through the enrollment process. We understand that closer to the end of the academic year students will be in different steps of the enrollment process and we can help meet each student were they are. Our representatives will work with each student to assess what steps are needed to complete a successful transition from your site to El Camino College. This includes admissions application support, South Bay Promise eligibility, enrollment steps, and support programs applications.
INFORMATION SESSION

You will receive a wide range of information about our ESL Program such as the ESL Placement Test, differences and similarities between ESL Non-Credit, Credit, and Mirrored Courses, ESL Conversation Corner at the Writing Center, etc.
Extended Opportunity Programs & Services (EOPS) provides guidance, motivation, support services, and resources to help students complete their educational goals, including vocational certificates, associate degrees, and transfer to four-year institutions.

VARIOUS SERVICES
Estimated Time: 30 Minutes - 1 Hour
FIRST is a program designed to provide academic and basic needs support to formerly incarcerated and system-impacted students while addressing systematic barriers they may face. Our focus is to advocate and support formerly incarcerated individuals by providing training, support groups, and counseling assistance that directly promotes collaboration among various campus entities.

Your students will receive an overview of the benefits of joining the HTP Program, the requirements for completing the program, and the application process.
The MANA Program provides mentorship, workshops, and academic support for students throughout their educational journey. While the MANA Program efforts are targeted towards Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander students, all interested students are welcome to join.

Puente Program is a transfer and learning community that targets underrepresented students to assist them in their academic journey to transfer to universities. Puente Information Sessions will be available beginning March 2024. Each session is 2 hours long and is presented virtually only.
ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE INFORMATION SESSION
Estimated Time: 30 Minutes
This program prepares students for a career in criminal justice or law enforcement. During this session, you will receive an orientation regarding what courses we offer and what careers students may enter should they seek to enter this field of study.
FIRE AND EMERGENCY TECHNOLOGY INFORMATION SESSION
Estimated Time: 30 Minutes
This program prepares students for entry level employment and job upgrades in fire service and emergency medical fields. During this session, you will receive an orientation regarding what courses we offer and what careers students may enter should they seek to enter this field of study.
