Basic Needs Workshop

Location: Student Services Building - 2nd Floor - Room 287

Students have many responsibilities as they balance personal responsibilities with homework, class schedules, fees and books. Come learn about all of the resources El Camino College has dedicated to support our students. Basic Needs Center resources include: Warrior Pantry, Warrior Wardrobe, Metro U-pass, technology, child care, and more! 

 

Transfer Strategies Workshop

This workshop will address the many transfer opportunities that students have when they enroll at El Camino College. It's never too early to start thinking about the future!

How To Get Involved

Location: Student Services Building - 2nd Floor - Room 287

College is more than just classrooms and coursework. It’s a community – and that means connecting with others who love what you love. Student representatives from our Associated Students Organization (ASO) and Inter-Club Council (ICC) will teach you about our many opportunities to get involved on campus whether it is by serving as an elected representative for the student body or by getting involved in one of our over 50 student clubs and associations.

• Admissions Application Assistance - Need help completing the El Camino College application for admissions? We are here to help!
• Chat with a Counselor - Sometimes you just have a quick question for a counselor about a class you're interested in or maybe you need guidance with prerequisite clearance. Our counselors are available to help with some of your questions that you would not normally need an appointment for.
• Resource Fair - At the Resource Fair, you will be able to take advantage of the different services that El Camino College has available to support you. 
• Student Health Services Open House - Student Health Services (SHS) at El Camino College is committed to providing excellent, comprehensive outpatient clinical care to promote and maintain the health and well-being of our students. We achieve this through a multi-disciplinary team approach comprised of physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, clinical psychologists, a licensed chiropractor and office support staff. COme check out our brand new facilties and services we offer!
• Twilight Campus Tours - Join us as we visit the different departments and buildings across campus! Meet some of the faculty and staff from each department and step into some of our classrooms!
