Outreach hosts a variety of events for students and their families throughout the year. Whether you're a new, returning, prospective, or current student, there's something for everyone!
Ongoing Virtual Events

New students are highly encouraged to attend an orientation. Students will learn about:
- Various academic opportunities such as certificates, associate degrees, and transfer
- Campus resources
- Academic support programs
Orientation is required for South Bay Promise applicants.

New Student Welcome Tours are coming soon! Join us on a guided tour and explore our campus, support services, tutoring services, and other resources! Warrior Smart Start is an opportunity for new students starting in summer or fall and their families to connect to campus resources and student support programs offered by El Camino College. Students can attend sessions to prepare them for their first semester, join a support program, learn transfer strategies, and more. This will be our first Warrior Smart Start back on campus since 2019!

The Ellision S. Onizuka Memorial Committee, El Camino College, and American Honda Motor Co., sponsor this free, hands-on conference. This year marks the 37th anniversary of the Space Shuttle Challenger accident that took the lives of the seven crew members, including Ellison Onizuka.
Serious-minded science students in Grades 5-12 are invited to attend Onizuka Space Science Day on campus at El Camino College.
