Society of Manufacturing Engineers

The Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) promotes advanced manufacturing technology and develops a skilled workforce. SME’s purpose is to advance manufacturing and attract future generations. El Camino College’s staff is strongly involved in the leadership of the South Bay’s local 153 chapter. SME’s local chapter works to assist El Camino College students with education to profession succession which is not limited to, but can include, mentorship, scholarships, and internships.
