Aerospace Apprenticeship

El Camino College is seeking interested candidates who would like to learn Machine Tool Technology, Electronics and Computer Hardware or Engineering Technology while working in the Aerospace Industry as a apprentice. Candidates who are eligible to enroll, complete the necessary requirements and are successful in matching with an employer partner will be enrolled in El Camino College's registered apprenticeship.

What is an apprentice?

An apprentice is a person who is learning a trade from a skilled employer, having agreed to work for a fixed period while attending classes to continue their education in the designated industry.

Who is eligible to apply for the apprenticeship program?

Applicants must be at least 18 years or older, a US citizen, have a 2.0 grade point average, and have completed the coursework or the equivalent of the pre-apprenticeship courses for Machine Tool Technology, Electronics and Computer Hardware, or Engineering Technology. Other majors are eligible, and encouraged to apply.
