Childhood Education

In partnership with South Bay Adult School, El Camino College is offering a free program in Childhood Education. As part of this program, students will have their tuition fees, books and supplies provided at no cost. 

The program consists of two, 16 week courses which will culminate in the California Child Development Permit. In addition to the Childhood Education courses, students will participate in South Bay Adult School weekly courses where they will learn the basic skills, softs skills and the work readiness skills needed to be successful in employment. Upon completion of the program, students will receive assistance with applying for jobs in Childhood Education.
