Construction Technology Pre-Apprenticeship

Construction Technology Pre-Apprenticeship

In partnership with South Bay Adult School, El Camino College is offering a pre-apprenticeship program in construction technology. As part of the program, students will have their fees, books and supplies provided at no costs.

This program is split up into 4 modules of 8 week courses. Upon the completion of all four classes, students will receive three different El Camino College Construction Technology certificates of achievement. Upon completion of the program, students will receive assistance with applying for local contractor jobs or joining a union. In addition to the construction technology courses, students will participate in weekly courses at South Bay Adult School to gain the basic skills, soft skills and work readiness skills needed to enter an apprenticeship program in Construction.

We are currently recruiting students for the fall 2020 semester. Classes will begin on Monday, August 24th. The schedule for the program is Monday- Friday, 8:00 AM- 12:00 PM. To participate in this special program, you must be available for this schedule, however, please note that El Camino College offers construction courses on many different days/times. You can view a schedule of all courses here.
