In partnership with Inglewood Adult School, El Camino College offers a free GED and high school equivalency preparation course. Due to COVID-19, all GED classes are only offered online.
GED: Before students take any section of the GED exam, students must complete at least 40 hours of instruction and take the Inglewood Adult School post test. These instruction hours can be a combination of classroom instruction and online modules. Information on the GED exam can be found at https://ged.com/ .
High School Diploma: Before students can enroll in the high school diploma program, they must submit transcripts from their last high school to be reviewed by the Inglewood Adult School
Registration is accepted on a rolling basis and students can apply throughout the semester. Classes are now in session. The class is currently full and but students are encouraged to sign up for the waitlist. The time students spend on the waitlist varies.
