Brian has a master’s degree in education and a bachelor’s degree in public administration and a minor in Africana Studies from San Diego State University.

His previous counseling experience includes positions at LA Southwest College, Coastline Community College, El Camino College Compton Center, and El Camino College.

At ECC, Brian has also served the college via the Black History Month Committee, the Project Success Community Advisory Committee, and the Scholarship Committee.

   

Nikki L. Barber

Nikki L. Barber is a graduate from El Camino College and continued her education at California State University at Long Beach. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism with an emphasis in public relations. Nikki went on to the University of La Verne and obtained her master’s degree in educational counseling.

Before joining El Camino College, Nikki worked at an online university in the finance department where she held a supervisory role. Currently, Nikki’s position is a counselor and coordinator for the Project Success program. Along with that role, she is a basic skills, HBCU, express and generalist counselor.
