PASS Peer mentorship is not only about providing you with resources, helping you get through tough times, and enhancing your academic career. It’s about celebrating all the successes too! A peer mentor is your own personal cheerleader. We’re here to support you and cheer you on, and to make sure that your time at ECC is everything you hope it would be!
So all those people you want to meet while you’re at ECC–your professors, staff and classmates–make sure to add a PASS mentor on the list, because we want you to enjoy every second you spend here, and we come with our own set of pom-poms.
PASS Mentor Program Overview
PASS Mentors are a vital part of student support programs at ECC, providing a crucial link between the classroom, the campus, and the community. The PASS Mentor program seeks to provide students with support in three main areas: Academic Success, Personal and Professional Development, and Advocacy & Support. PASS Mentors are paid peer mentors who support and encourage students at any stage of their academic career. Mentors work directly with students to provide emotional support and validation; assist mentees in navigating campus systems and resources; and help their peers become more engaged in the campus community.
