Student Health Services is supported by your student health fee. We do not bill for or collect insurance. Below you will find non-El Camino affiliated links for more information on individual insurance.
Covered California
Covered California is a free service that connects Californians with brand-name health insurance.
When you apply, you may qualify for a discount on a health plan through Covered California, or get health insurance through the state’s Medi-Cal program.
Medi-Cal
Californians who are eligible for Medi-Cal can get insurance effective immediately.
Medi-Cal accepts applications year-round. Apply for MediCal or low-cost insurance.
CalFresh
CalFresh is a nutrition program that helps households buy healthy foods.
Individuals and families can purchase groceries online using their EBT card at Amazon and Walmart. If you receive CalWORKs, you may also be able to use your cash benefits to make purchases online at Walmart.
