Our History
The performing arts play an integral role in the vision of El Camino College.
For over 50 years, artists and attractions presented by the Center for the Arts have enhanced the educational goals of the college and positively enriched the lives of our students and communities. Each year, the Center for the Arts produces and provides event coordination for over 350 performance, production, rehearsal and classroom activities. The Fine Arts concentrations at El Camino College include music, theater, dance, art, communication studies, photography and film/video.

The mission of the Center for the Arts at El Camino College is to present an innovative, entertaining, and diverse program of high-quality performances to:
- Enhance the educational experience at the college for all students and provide a professional facility to train students in the arts
- Foster artistic excellence and creativity
- Connect El Camino College with the richly varied South Bay and surrounding communities
Our Venues
The Center for the Arts at El Camino College consists of three main venues:
- Marsee Auditorium: 2,048-seat, multipurpose performance facility
- Campus Theatre: 353-seat performing arts stage
- Robert Haag Recital Hall: 180-seat event space
