FYE Service Area Outcomes

Student Area Outcomes (SAOs) are explicit statements describing knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or attitudes that a student will be able to demonstrate at the end (or as a result) of his or her engagement in a particular lesson, course, program, or collegiate experience.  SAOs are assessed at the course, program, and institutional levels.

Students participating in the First Year Experience Program will be able to increase their knowledge and understanding of academic programs and resources as a result of attending the one-day student orientation.
