9 a.m. Bookstore open for graduation merchandise purchases Bookstore

Information for Guests

Murdock Stadium will be open at 1 p.m. for guests.

The Bookstore will also be open during this time with food and drinks available for purchase.

To ensure a safe and celebratory environment for graduates and their guests, all Commencement visitors must pass through electronic security checkpoints upon entry into the stadium.

 

Guests may park in student and accessible parking spaces for free on June 7, 2024. Please do not park in reserved, visitor, or staff parking.

We strongly recommend guests parking in Lots C, F, or H due to its close proximity to Murdock Stadium.

The following items are not permitted into the stadium:

  • No umbrellas
  • No balloons
  • No confetti cannons
  • No air horns or loud noise makers

 

The Bookstore will be open at 9 a.m. with food, drinks, and graduation merchandise available for purchase. Guests may consume food on the tables outside of the Bookstore entrance.

Bouquets and additional graduation merchandise will be available at kiosks located at the west and north stadium entrances.

 

Seating is first-come, first-serve. Guests are welcome to sit at any available seat in Murdock Stadium.

Note that the benches placed directly in front of the railing is reserved for guests with disabilities and one companion. In addition, the south-east section is desginated for our Deaf and Hard of Hearing guests.

During the 3 p.m. information session in Marsee Auditorium graduates will be told which side of the stadium they will be seated.  That should be communicated to their guests so they can move to the appropriate side of the Stadium.

 

Each graduate will receive a commemorative program when they arrive in Murdock Stadium.

Guests will be able to scan a QR code to download the digital program. QR codes will be posted in multiple areas within the Stadium and at the Blue Info Tents.
