Administrators, faculty, and staff are welcome to participate in the commencement ceremony! Join us as we celebrate our students and cheer them on!
Commencement Involvement
Employees can get involved with commencement in two ways: attend the ceremony held inside Murdock Stadium, or volunteer the morning and afternoon of commencement to accomplish the many tasks required to make the event a success!
Event Information
- Friday, June 7, 2024
- Graduate Check-in: Marsee Auditorium at 3 p.m.
- Ceremony: Murdock Stadium from 4-6:30 p.m. (approximate end time)

Volunteers
Employees who wish to volunteer during commencement can fill out the form below. All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt to wear at commencement. If you have specific questions about volunteering, contact Austin Toney for more information.

El Camino College faculty are required to attend a commencement ceremony on specific years. To find out if you are required to attend this year's ceremony, or for details on faculty participation, please contact Academic Affairs.
Schedule of the Day
Regalia for Employees
In order to encourage employee participation in commencement, El Camino College will provide regalia to participants. Please see below:
- Permanent faculty: Regalia will be purchased on their behalf to keep
- Adjunct faculty: Regalia rental will be provided
Custom Regalia
If you would like custom regalia, please contact Julie Bourlier at the Bookstore to set up an appointment. After confirming measurements, fabric, and style, the cost of custom regalia will be charged to the employee.
