What is Alternate Media?
Alternate media is an alternative format of presentation of printed or electronic instructional and academic information. It is the same material and content presented in a different format. Examples of alternate media include a book transformed from print to audio, Braille (tactile) or electronic/digital format and captioning added to film/video.
Request Services
You should plan for your alternate media needs as soon as you register for classes. Once approved for alternate media services, students may check the status of their textbooks/materials by emailing srcaltmedia@elcamino.edu. Students may also chat with or make an appointment with Alternate Media Services staff below.
