Thank you to all of our faculty, staff and students for their support and flexibility during these challenging times. Community is the heart of our campus culture and despite social distancing and the Safer at Home order, we have found meaningful ways to connect with each other these last few weeks. It has been inspiring to see how the college community has met each challenge with patience and courage, finding creative solutions to provide essential campus services to serve our students. For example, while all classes are now offered in an online or remote format, the Warrior Pantry created a new curbside grab-and-go service, virtual counseling is up and running, librarians are available to assist students online, Student Health Services offers virtual assistance, and students can access virtual tutoring. A Student FAQ page has also been created to offer updated information. There are also numerous resources in the Student Services Quick Links.
In addition, The ECC Foundation launched the El Camino Student Emergency Fund to help support students in need. You can read about this new fund here.
These unprecedented times are certainly challenging, but the El Camino College community has stood strong. We’re so grateful and thankful to each one of you for your hard work and patience as we continue to live our mission to make a positive difference in people’s lives. Though our daily routines continue to change at a rapid pace, what remains constant is we are Warriors and we are resilient. Please stay well and take care of yourself.
