ARCHI-CULTURE

See what it is like in a day in the life of an architecture student. Unlike most other majors, architecture is both sicience and art.  As such, students are expected to gain knowledge in several dozen areas of specialization to be able to navigate in the architecture (or related) profession.  Further, the founding Dean of Harvard’s Graduate School of Design(GSD), Joseph Hudnut, a scholar and educator believed and promoted a multidisciplinary course of study in the field. Reportedly, he reviewed all the courses required for a complete architectural education: history, behavioral science, math, art and engineering among others, and his calculations showed that the duration of study would be no less than thirty-three years.
