CSUDH Toro Tutors

We are currently hiring English tutors for middle and high schools in the Compton Unified School District. Candidates can select their preferred school district, grade level, and subject to tutor, either English or Math. At this time, we only have openings for middle school and high school grades. This is an entry-level position with a starting pay of $19.00 per hour. The working hours are Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 2:30 PM. The minimum working hours a week are 9, and the maximum is 20.

Job Summary

On-Call as needed. Substitute Child Development Instructional Assistants work the same duties as regular Child Development Instructional Assistants. Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, assist in providing care, supervision and learning activities to children in a classroom or other learning environment; assist with assignments, meals, play, hygiene, cleaning and various other activities to meet the needs and interests of the children; perform a variety of clerical support duties; and performs other related duties as required.
