General Science Associate in Science (AS) Degree

This degree gives you many options by offering a basic science background that transfers into many bachelor’s degree programs and career fields. It’s a great way to explore your interests in science, while sharpening inquiry and problem-solving skills.

After earning a degree in general science, you will be ready to work in a science-based technology career. Or you can continue your education at another school. We’ll help you find the pathway that’s best for you.

As an El Camino science student, you’ll have many opportunities to explore the sciences outside the classroom setting.

• Join the active Science Club and participate in faculty-led field trips to state/national parks that focus on many scientific disciplines from biology to geology.
