Scholarships

As an Honors Transfer Program student, you're eligible for a variety of scholarships to help you on your college journey.

HTP Scholarships

To apply for Honors Transfer Program (HTP) scholarships, students must:

  • Submit the El Camino College Scholarship application and select HTP on the application form.
  • Identify a faculty member for an online recommendation. (The scholarship office advises that the faculty member upload a typed letter of recommendation.)

Eligibility Requirements

  • GPA: 3.1
  • Major: Open
  • Citizenship Status: All
  • Financial Need: None
  • Deadline: End of Fall Semester

Other Scholarships

During the fall semester, honors students are encouraged to apply for local and national scholarships, especially if you have a financial need or personal hardship.

 

Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship

The Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship is a highly selective scholarship for the nation’s top community college students seeking to complete their bachelor’s degrees at four-year colleges or universities. Each Cooke Scholar has access to generous financial support for two to three years, college planning support, ongoing advising, and the opportunity to connect with the thriving community of fellow scholars.
