Scholarship Support

The El Camino College Foundation awarded nearly $900,000 in scholarships to 600 students in fall 2023!

Providing Opportunities for Student Success

Scholarships are an ideal way to support student success at El Camino College.

Unquestionably, the Foundation’s generous supporters make this program possible, enabling a growing number of deserving students to achieve their educational goals.

The Foundation provides more than 650 scholarships annually. These scholarships meet the needs of our diverse student population.

Scholarship types include:

  • Discipline specific
  • Reward academic excellence
  • Extended to students from local high schools
  • Intended for transferring students to four-year colleges or universities to continue their education
  • Support earnest students with a financial need who just do not meet federal or state assistance requirements

Scholarships help students with tuition, fees, textbooks and other educational expenses. They serve current El Camino College students (path toward a two-year degree or vocational/certificate program), incoming high school students and students who plan to transfer to a four-year institution.
