The Marsee Auditorium is home to the Center for the Arts and houses the Ticket Office, Center for the Arts administration offices, production management offices, faculty offices, and a band rehearsal room.
The Marsee Auditorium was opened in 1968 and named in honor of Stuart E. Marsee, president of El Camino College from 1958 to 1982. The Marsee Auditorium is a continental-style multi-purpose performance venue with a floor capacity of 1,238 seats and a balcony capacity of 810 seats (2,048 seating capacity).

The Marsee Auditorium hosts main stage events for the Center for the Arts, as well as Fine Arts Division ensembles and events, such as the ECC Symphony Orchestra, ECC Concert Band, ECC Jazz Ensembles, ECC Choirs, ECC Dance Concerts, communication studies events, and film screenings.
The Marsee Auditorium is the central gathering point for many ECC campuswide events, bi-annual ECC faculty and staff meetings, commencement, and other campus community events. The Marsee Auditorium also hosts many guest organizations from our surrounding communities, as well as numerous commencement ceremonies of local high schools and middle schools in the South Bay.
