We understand that school debt can prevent you from starting or re-engaging your pursuit for higher education. That's why we're offering solutions to help ease the cost of attending college.
The Tuition Relief Program, as part of the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF), offers no tuition and fees to new students as well as debt relief to students with outstanding student balances.
El Camino College is now offering no tuition and fees to students for Spring 2023. This program covers all students who qualify under the eligibility requirements listed below and will pay for your tuition and fees using HEERF emergency funding. Please note this is a limited time program and only applies to the current semester.

Program Limitations:
The ECC Tuition Relief program applies to your current student debt for tuition and fees at ECC only. It does not cover student loan or private debt. Student debt at ECC includes the following:
The maximum award per term is $1,200 which will be credited directly to your tuition and fees. If you are eligible, you will be awarded and marked as exempt for the drop for non-payment. Final award amounts will be determined and updated after the final census for spring semester in early May. All approved awards will be applied directly to you tuition and fees for the current term.
