El Camino College to HBCU

Since 2015, the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office has built and sustained strong transfer partnerships with HBCUs, creating guaranteed pathways for students to complete their bachelor’s degrees. Through this program, any CCC student may transfer to a partner HBCU with an approved Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) or with a minimum of 30 transferable units.

These pathways will simplify the transfer process and reduce students’ need to take unnecessary courses, thereby shortening the time to degree completion and saving student costs.
