This site is intended to serve as a centralized source for all information pertaining to the El Camino Department of English, including resources for students and faculty. It is also the gateway to the home pages of department members currently using the web for on-line instruction.
Students can learn about the department's degree requirements, as well as find links for important on-line tools related to the study of composition and literature, including guides for documenting research papers. Students can also read a list of Frequently Asked Questions and learn about El Camino's faculty by perusing the faculty directory.

AB705 is a bill that requires colleges to maximize the probability that students will enter and complete transfer-level coursework in English and Math within a one-year timeframe. Also, colleges must use high school coursework, high school grades, and/or high school GPA for English and Math placement. For more information, click here.
