Filipino Cultural Showcase
A recent Filipino Cultural Showcase brought the campus community together at the Student Services South Plaza for a cultural celebration. Students enjoyed delicious servings of lumpia and pancit, participated in interactive cultural activities and joined in on the traditional Philippine folk dance "tinikling," led by UCLA's Samahang Pilipino Advancing Community Empowerment (SPACE) program. Thank you to the Student Development Office, Student Equity Program, Student Equity Advisory Council, and the Office of Staff and Student Diversity for collaborating with SPACE to bring this program to the El Camino College campus. Watch for additional cultural celebrations planned for the spring.
