College Night: Fall 2019

A record number of attendees visited El Camino College on Nov. 13 for Fall 2019 College Night. More than 650 total participants came to campus for this fourth annual event to learn all about what El Camino has to offer. This year, College Night moved from the Bookstore building to the new Student Services building and the Student Services South Plaza. Prospective students and their families enjoyed coffee, hot chocolate and tea while they learned about financial aid, career education, transfer strategies, dual enrollment, and more! Ambassadors also led campus tours and shared their personal college experiences. In addition, current El Camino evening students were able to visit with programs and student clubs during the College Night resource fair.

Feedback from the event indicates that many visitors were impressed by the new facilities and comments from families noted that they were excited to attend El Camino College in the future. Thank you to all those in Outreach and School Relations who planned this successful College Night. Watch for the next large-scale Outreach and School Relations event on April 25, Warrior Smart Start. On this day, fall 2020 applicants will be invited to campus to connect with resources, learn about programs and get ready for the start of the fall semester.
