We have been hearing the term “equity” a lot recently, and for good reason: we as a society have a lot of work to do to correct disparities which are disproportionately impacting groups in terms of race, gender, sexual orientation, disability status, and others. But, do we know exactly what “equity” means and whether we have reached it?
Come to the United for Student Success Forum to engage in a campus-wide discussion around what equity means, what it looks like, and how we can evaluate our programs and services to ensure we are moving towards a more equitable college.
