SI Coach Name: Vladimir Course Coaching: Business 150 Bio: Firstly, it is my health, mental and physical, without health all other goals are out of reach, so that's what I do, I maintain my weight, keep exercising and stick to a healthy diet. Next, my social life, since I moved to another country, I left all my friends behind, and when you get older it's harder to make new friends, so I try to get involved in teaching students and try to be helpful to someone. Another goal of mine is to get the CPA certificate and a job in the accounting field. I graduated from university in Russia as a physicist, defended my PhD thesis in Physics and Math at Moscow State University, after which I taught physics to university students for some time. I run a telecommunication company in Russia for about 20 years as owner and CEO, which I sold when I retired. I respect rules and laws and don't like it when others break them. |

SI Coach Name: Vincent Course Coaching: Chemistry 20 Bio: Professionally speaking, one of my goals for the near future is to get accepted into Elco's nursing program! I'm applying this spring semester for the program in the fall. Super nervous about it, but trying to keep the vibes positive. Wish me luck! Later on, I'd like to get my BSN and eventually my MSN, but I'll cross (and hopefully not burn) that bridge when I get there. Ultimately, my overarching personal goal in life is to just live happily and comfortably; it's not always easy, but I try to take each day one step at a time! One fun fact about myself is that I'm not that fun. Kidding... but not really. I'm kind of boring. But seriously, I'd say I'm chill overall. Feel free to talk to me about anything, say "hi" if you see me around campus—anything! Another fact about me is that I graduated from CSUDH back in 2021 with a BA in Psychology. Go Toros! Sorry, Warriors. Before that, I went to Narbonne High School and graduated in 2018, so I'm a little bit... prehistoric now. One more fact that I can't go without mentioning is that I have the cutest little chihuahua named Zack, but we call him "Yip Yip" because of the sounds he made when we first got him. He's around 14 years old now, but he still acts like he's four with all the energy he has! |
