Basic Needs Center
Supporting students through all aspects of their education is a priority at El Camino College. The Basic Needs Center provides vital assistance to those in need.

We're here for you. At the Basic Needs Center, you'll find free and low-cost basic needs services, resources, and support.
The Basic Needs Center is currently comprised of four services:
- CalFresh: Nutrition assistance program that helps individuals buy food
- Metro U-Pass: Discounted public transportation program
- Warrior Closet: Provides free clothing
- Warrior Pantry: Offers healthy food items and toiletries

Eligibility:
- Students must be enrolled for the current term
- Students must have a valid ECC student ID number
- Students must fill out the Basic Needs Intake form

Our goal is to feed everyone. The community may utilize Warrior Pantry food services as a portion of our donations are provided directly by the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. We have fresh fruits, vegetables and protein to provide each week.
Open Hours for the Community:
Community members may stop by the Basic Needs Warrior Pantry at 3 p.m. throughout the week and we’ll be happy to serve you.
The Basic Needs Center accepts both monetary and item donations year round.
