Blossom Adanike

Speech language pathology major Blossom Adanike credits her success at El Camino College to a strong support system she connected with right away.

"I made the decision to attend El Camino College because of the incredible support it provides," said Adanike, an ambassador, tutor, and member of the First Year Experience program. "To me, El Camino College is like home. A place where you belong, and you don't have to feel like a stranger because this is family."

In addition, the low fees at El Camino College made good financial sense to Adanike. She is able to take care of many class requirements needed for her major and save money for when she transfers to a university to continue her studies.

During her time at El Camino, Adanike has gained the knowledge and maturity to face challenging university classwork.

"I would not have made it this far without the support of El Camino College," she said. "El Camino provided me with many opportunities to grow as a leader and as an individual. I feel very empowered and confident that I am prepared for the bigger world!

"El Camino College always puts the success of students first. This is the best place to start working toward earning any degree."
