Graduation Intents
Students who plan to graduate in fall 2024 must submit an Intent to Graduate by Oct. 11. This week is a great time to remind students to complete a grad check with their counselor. Students often have completed the required courses, but do not submit an intent so they can be recognized for their accomplishments. It’s a great idea to check in with a counselor when preparing for graduation!

Add a Class: Midterm Classes Begin Soon
It’s not too late for students to add a class (or two!) to their fall schedule. Our “GR8” week classes begin Oct. 21. This is a great way for students to complete their goals at a faster pace – a full class in half the time! Students should check the searchable schedule online for available classes or stop by the Warrior Welcome Center for in-person assistance.

College Night: Fall 2024!
All prospective students, parents, adult learners, educators, and community members are invited to College Night on Nov. 13. This festive and informative evening event is designed to introduce El Camino and showcase all that is available to students. Visitors can join workshops, a resource fair, and twilight campus tours, among other activities. Information about the South Bay Promise will also be available, a program where students can access free college fees for up to two years. All are welcome to College Night! Faculty and staff members will be on hand to answer questions.
