President Thames will lead a new “Community Connect” event this fall titled, “Caring for the Caregiver.” At this panel discussion and resource fair, attendees can join an insightful conversation with experts addressing the challenges faced by caregivers. Participants will also have an opportunity to connect with organizations and services that provide support.
Free and open to the public, “Community Connect: Caring for the Caregiver” is scheduled for 6-8:30 p.m. Oct. 22 in the college’s East Dining Room.
This series of free events led by President Thames offers information and resources to the community, covering different topics. Sponsored by the Office of the President and Library & Learning Resources, new “Community Connect” opportunities will be available each semester. Watch for more information to come.
