Allied Health & Public Safety Courses Returning to Campus

With permission from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, El Camino College’s Fire Academy, Emergency Medical Technician, Peace Officer Standards and Training, Respiratory Care, and Radiological Technology programs will return to campus for the 2020 Summer Session and the 2020 Fall Semester.

These programs meet the State of California’s definition of essential “workers and instructors supporting academies and training facilities and courses for the purpose of graduating students and cadets that comprise the essential workforce for all identified critical sectors.”

It’s imperative that El Camino College help provide the essential first responders and healthcare workers needed during the COVID-19 crisis. Complete screening protocols and social distancing plans have been developed to allow for the return of these programs.
