Find “Cash for College” at El Camino Financial Aid Resource Event
The community is invited to the El Camino College campus to discover an affordable route to a high-quality college education. This year’s Cash For College financial aid resource event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Student Services Building. Current and prospective students and their families are encouraged to register for this free event that will offer information about applying for college financial aid and accessing additional services. Participants can also join a $1,500 scholarship raffle and attend a variety of workshops including:
- One-on-one assistance with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) application (English, Spanish & Vietnamese)
- One-on-one assistance with completing the California Dream Act Application (CADAA) application (English & Spanish)
- Parent Info Sessions
- Campus Tours
- Admissions and Counseling Assistance
- Various Student Support Programs
Sponsored by El Camino College’s Financial Aid Office and Basic Needs Center, staff members will also be available to answer questions and offer additional information.
