Original compositions and a variety of jazz styles will be featured at this exciting performance
El Camino College’s Center for the Arts will kick off a fall music ensemble series with a Faculty Jazz Showcase Concert scheduled for 5 p.m. Sept. 28 in the Campus Theatre.
Directed by faculty member David Moyer, this dynamic performance will feature members of the applied music faculty in the Instrumental Jazz and Commercial Music Program at El Camino. The group will present an electrifying concert, featuring a repertoire from a variety of stylistic periods as well as original compositions.
The El Camino College jazz program has a long history of offering opportunities for students to learn and grow as musicians. The college’s Associate of Arts degree program prepares students for transfer to four-year colleges and universities.
The El Camino Community College District encourages persons with disabilities to participate in its programs and activities.
