El Camino College Presents Spring University Fair

The annual Spring University Fair at El Camino College will give students an opportunity to meet in person with representatives from more than 60 colleges and universities. The event is scheduled for 11 a.m.-2 p.m. March 20 on the Library Lawn. Students will be able to learn about university admissions requirements, the transfer process, academic programs, campus life, and more. 

El Camino’s Transfer Center sponsors the fair, which is designed to help students connect with a wide variety of universities. This is a great way to explore university options, ask questions, and imagine a future in higher education.

El Camino regularly ranks in the top 10 in the state for students transferring to the University of California and the top five for students transferring to the California State University system. Representatives from those campuses will join private and out-of-state colleges and universities at the Spring University Fair.

“The Spring University Fair is the best opportunity for students to meet with a network of university representatives who can address any questions and/or concerns they may have as it relates to their transfer process,” said El Camino College counselor and Transfer Center Coordinator René Lozano.

The Transfer Center is open year-round to help guide students through the process of transferring to the university of their choice. In addition to the University Fair, the Transfer Center offers university tours, workshops, visits from university representatives, and several other transfer resources. Students can also access personalized assistance from Transfer Center staff, who offer direction and support to help make a good transfer decision.
