El Camino College Art Gallery Opens SOUNDS Exhibition to the Public
The El Camino Art Gallery is proud to present the SOUNDS Exhibition featuring works by artists Fatemeh Burnes, Robert Hilton, Tom Jenkins, Elana Mann, Mei Xian Qui, Peter Rice, and Susan Silton. The exhibit opens this Saturday, September 10, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the El Camino Art Gallery on campus.
SOUNDS explores the connections between humans and sound. The human desire to make sounds, whistle like birds and communicate with other humans is essential. How do we imagine sound? What emotions do sounds evoke? What does sound look like? Join us at the El Camino Art Gallery to find out.
The El Camino Art Gallery is located in the Art and Behavioral Science Building, Ground Floor, on the Redondo Beach Boulevard side of the El Camino College campus. El Camino College Art Gallery presents six exhibitions each year. The exhibition space is approximately 2,500 square feet and is fully equipped with a flexible wall system and state of the art gallery lighting.
In addition to our annual exhibition schedule, El Camino College Art Gallery presents artist's lectures, demonstrations and performances for students and the greater Los Angeles community. Gallery hours are Monday and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Thursdays from Noon to 4:00 p.m.
