BankMobile Presents El Camino College with its annual ACE Award

El Camino College was recently honored by BankMobile with its annual Achieving Campus Efficiency (ACE) Award, recognizing colleges who “achieve campus efficiency by delivering 90% of disbursements electronically and ensuring 40% of all students make a preference selection.” This award is given to institutions proven to have one of the most efficient disbursement programs in the country.

“Our Financial Aid Office works diligently with Fiscal Services and our students to ensure effective delivery of financial aid disbursements,” expressed Sharon-Anne Filio, Accounting Officer at El Camino College’s Financial Aid and Basic Needs Department. “Not only does this award celebrate our multigroup effort, but we hope this award also persuades our students to be even more involved in setting up their BankMobile financial aid disbursement profile and preference. Our office is urging our students to maintain accurate personal records, such as name and address, with Admissions since BankMobile uses that information to create disbursement profiles. In addition, we are encouraging our students to log in to BankMobile to select a preferred disbursement method for quicker receipt of financial aid funds.”
