Sharer Scholars Program

The Sharer scholarships are awarded to exceptional students with a demonstrated record of academic accomplishment, who are planning to transfer to a UC or CSU four-year university, have a career plan focused on the world of commerce, and have leadership potential. The scholarships also include additional program support for students as they transfer. Five $16,000 scholarships will be awarded this year.

A special thanks to The Carol H. and Kevin W. Sharer Foundation for their support of community college transfer students.

Why the Sharer Scholars Scholarship

"I want to help determined community college students transferring to a university overcome the barriers of earning a Bachelor’s degree that exist for many students without the means.

By eliminating their financial concern and connecting them to resources and support at their university, Sharer Scholars can immerse themselves in their college experience, launch themselves into the work force upon graduation and have a direct impact on society."
