  • Work and network within our dynamic college community.

FWS/LAEP Awards

FWS and LAEP are programs that provide a great way to learn skills in your major or area of interest, while earning money to pay for enrollment fees, books, and other college expenses.

El Camino receives a limited amount of FWS/LAEP funds and eligible students are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Receiving an award does not guarantee employment. It is the student's responsibility to follow the appropriate steps to secure employment.

If you are interested in participating in the student employment program and you meet the programs' requirements,
we invite you to fill out a Job Request Form

Note: Only students who are eligible for financial aid will receive an Approval Notice; everyone else will receive a denial letter.
