Our political science program introduces students to fundamental political theory and the basic functions and administration of United States and California government. Students learn about topics such as urban problems, regional politics, intergovernmental relations, governmental policy and international law. Students who earn the Associate of Arts degree can transfer to a four-year university in preparation for careers in fields such as journalism, labor relations, law, and marketing.
This degree gives you the opportunity to develop a solid understanding of political science while also providing an excellent foundation for continuing your studies at CSU.
El Camino made the transition from high school to college very easy, which has motivated me to pursue higher than a two-year degree."
