- Provide direct assistance to attorneys.
- Prepare or interpret legal documents and draft pleadings.
- Interview clients and summarize complaints, problems, or requests.
- Enroll in day and/or evening classes designed to accommodate your schedule.
- Take classes in fields such as business law, legal research, probate procedures, family law, and legal research and writing.
- Start your journey toward a bachelor’s degree, paralegal career, and even graduate study.
Certificate
If you have already earned an associate or bachelor’s degree, you can complete our American Bar Association-approved certificate program. This 11-course, 33 to 35-unit program gives you the skills you need to become a successful paralegal.
- Earn a certificate after seven required courses focused on law fundamentals and four elective courses of your choice.

- Prepare or interpret legal documents and draft pleadings.
