Ethnic Studies

Our Ethnic Studies program uses cultural, historical, political, and sociological methodologies to help students analyze the contributions, role and major issues of African Americans, Asian Americans, Chicanos, and Native Americans. Students also consider how socioeconomic and political factors impact how ethnic minorities interact with majority society. Students on this path can transfer to a four-year university and may pursue careers in counseling, advocacy, education and more.
